Headway Corporate Resources calling all Detailers/ Designers in the La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs, Commerce, Bellflower, and Norwalk areas!

We are looking for a talented Detailer/Designer experienced and proficient in CAD drafting to produce new technical drawings for various projects. The Detailer will also be asked to create exciting layouts and solve simple design problems. Candidate must have good communication skills to accept technical direction and giving feedback confirming a clear understanding of the task at hand. The Detailer/Designer will be required to wear different hats in order to assist in other ways by researching, correcting drawing errors, locating files/drawings/specifications, investigating fit/function problems, fabrication errors, identification and selection of purchased components, etc.. Candidate must have knowledge of simple designs and solving layout, spatial and interference problems. Proficiency in mechanical drafting with understanding geometric tolerance and drawing symbols a PLUS!

Requirements
CAD program experience (i.e. SolidWorks, Unigraphics)
Steel manufacturing
Aviation maintenance is a plus
High school diploma (or equivalent).
