DescriptionINSURANCE SERVICE SPECIALIST II/ IRVINE
Overview: This position is responsible for providing superior customer service for all incoming calls from insureds and sales representatives. Facilitate broker and insured communications; Receive, respond to and resolve inquiries, requests and problems in a timely and accurate fashion for CSAA Insurance. Responsibilities: Process routine and complex insurance inquiries and transactions. Responds to agents, insureds, sales and support staff’s inquiry or complaints and ensures problem resolution. Evaluates and approves insurance risks. Process policy endorsements along with supporting documentation such as MVR’s and CLUE reports per insureds/agent requests. Maintain diary/follow up with previously requested items on existing business. Provides insurance quotes for CSAA insureds and Sales Representatives. Log all communications in a brief, informative format into the underwriting automated system. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or prior exposure to call-center customer service or insurance underwriting type activities – 1 to 2 years. Logically apply underwriting procedures to make sound underwriting decisions. Basic familiarity with computers. Good oral and written communications skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
