The Legacy for Children TM Follow-up Study was designed to answer questions such as: 1 – What is the long-term effect of the Legacy intervention on child development outcomes when the children are in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade? 2 – How do certain demographic or maternal/family functioning factors (e.g., parenting practices), mediate or moderate the effects of the Legacy intervention? The Principal Investigator for the follow up study is Sarah L. Friedman, Ph.D. The data collection is conducted by Battelle, a non-profit research company.
