Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Project Management Specialist for a 4 month project for one of our clients in Austin, TX.

Responsible for execution of complex project plans.

Responsible for delivery of complex projects.

Performs project/program management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource management activities).

Project manager for customer systems projects involving hardware, software, and device/system communications.

Candidate must be able to define and deliver the planned results, a self-starter with an innate need to make things happen.

Required skills - planning, scheduling and tracking using MS Project, understanding of the mechanics and value of using earned value management to track project progress, able to define customer requirements at sufficient detail to allow engineering requirements and test plans to be defined, manage risks, implement and track contingency and recovery plans, excellent negotiation skills to manage the contract, the customer, the team and internal management interests, manage 3-8 projects simultaneously.

Self driven individual who can help others determine how to solve a problem when they can't see that a solution exists.

PMP certification preferred, project management principles required.

Minimum 3 years experience with managing projects, preferably with profit and loss responsibility.
