Position Description:
The Systems Sales Trainee’s role is mainly to accomplish two things:
1.Receive training grounded in the sales organization so that the associate can learn to sell. Training program will be put in place by the Regional Sales Director (RSD) to ensure success.
2.Assist the "Mentor" (i.e., senior Account Manager) in the assigned territory with the various stages of the sales process to achieve the designated sales quota.
The Systems Sales Trainee’s responsibilities are to take day to day direction from Mentor and RSD on sales activities that will drive revenue such as:
•Participate in the planning and implementation of market strategies and programs
•Team with Mentor to achieve sales goals of a specific set of solutions through the sales cycle
•Team with Mentor on various Lead program execution tasks, competitive intelligence gathering and help train sales associates
•Participate in solutions team business reviews
•Participate in customer prospect events and trade and product shows
•Complete basic administrative duties as needed, including updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting/database systems. (Funnel management systems, proposal building tools, customer information database and territory planning).
Training: 6 months-2 years of on the job training with a mentor
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelors Degree preferred
•0-5 years experience in sales; dealership experience preferred
•Strong customer relationship skills
•Persuasiveness and sale closing ability
•Able to work as a team member and be a positive influence on others
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Must be open to relocation within RSD’s region
