Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Irvine)

SUMMARY
Develops, interprets and implements complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare all reports and associated gap analysis for bookings/revenue/IFO/WCR/OCR
Examination and analysis of financial information such as income and expense statements, and monthly/quarterly operating results
Production of a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro forma reports
Assisting with the operating and capital budget development process
Act as liaison with Sr. managers to ensure that financial impacts of capital request are properly documented and communicated
Will assist in the development, preparation and presentation of both short and long range financial plans and/or operating budgets
Control closing process and internal control documentation
Track actual spending and report variances
Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts, reasoning ability, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Self-motivated, above average interpersonal skills with the ability to creatively relay financial information in layman terms to account staff
Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts, as assigned
Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Solid IS skills including Excel and database processing.
