Headway Corporate Resources seeking experienced and talented Web Designer and Developer for exciting career opportunity in Raleigh, NC!!!

The successful candidate will be responsible for the graphic design, development (templates, et al), implementation, integration, and modification/maintenance of all online properties - including corporate websites, web-based applications and client landing pages. Candidate will also be responsible for front-end design with ability to develop and build out strong website pages with user-friendly graphics and user interfaces.

Responsibilities
Translate needs, specs and other documentation into website designs, screen layouts, prototypes, templates, color palettes and create draft designs / mockups / test-pages – for both new web pages as well as clean-up efforts of existing web pages
Prioritize development needs and maintain development and project plans
Monitor, maximize and report on website traffic usage, patterns, et al SEO needs
Maintain and provide ongoing design of client landing pages
Deliver and meet the specs of various departments and clients
Take high-level direction and make design and architecture recommendations based on strategic goals and needs of all web properties
Ensure consistency in templates/graphical elements utilize site-wide color typeface standards
Be up-to-date on best practices in website development and on web design trends
Manage the online content pipeline – as well domain registrations
Know latest online strategies and production work assists (Firefox extensions, code validators, debuggers, W3C web site, etc) to ensure site design integrity and quality control
Create HTML for email marketing campaigns and promotions

Requirements
4 year degree or equivalent
Online Portfolio (Required)
4+ years of experience designing and developing sites with strong online user experiences. Ideal candidate will have solid design and technical skills with an emphasis on front-end development and user-friendliness/accessibility. A background in print is a big plus.
Experience with website SEO (i.e., Google optimizer) to increase website traffic and usage
Experience in CSS for page structure, to manipulate it to compensate for browser issues
Working knowledge of buzz tech - MySpace, RSS, AJAX, viral, blogs, etc…
Strong visual design, and layout experience - with sharp attention to detail
High production values/strong quality assurance
Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal direction
Great attitude and team player, with excellent communication skills
