Verizon is currently looking for an Account Billing Professional (Bill Clerk) in Bedminster, New Jersey (07921)

Duration: (6) months contract w/ a possibility to be extended
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour (maximum)

Description:
Responsible for the collections of equipment sales sold to Verizon Wireless indirect agents and other business.

Responsibilities:
Account set-up and maintenance for indirect agent accounts.
Responsible for invoicing of Datascape returned items.
Responsible for daily research and analysis of accounts on credit hold.
Responsible for communicating actions required to resolve the credit hold with Supervisor and indirect agent.
Responsible for processing commission withholdings as required for payment, confirming completeness of the withholding and applying the withholding to the equipment account.
Responsible for applying open credits as directed by the indirect agent.
Responsible for equipment and Datascape account set-up and maintenance.
Direct point of contact for all customer inquiries related to equipment account payment status.
Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting and analysis of overdue payments associated with these billings.
Responsible for sending out monthly statements of accounts and related correspondences.
Conduct daily lock box, wire and ACH payment applications for the Great Plains AR/Billing System.
Responsible for daily reconciliation of all payments received.
Ensure payments are posted to customer invoices timely.
Process monthly journal entries timely.
Flexible schedule, required to work until 6PM on occasion.
