Everything we do is based on respect. We believe in caregivers being included in recovery. The way we include respect is by creating accessible programs that support, encourage and train caregivers of those with eating disorders.

My mission is to educate health care providers and support parents/carers facing eating disorders worldwide.

The customers I serve are the parents who are living with the fear and hopelessness of an
eating disorder along with needing help finding adequate treatment providers.

I also train current and future health workers. There are so many illnesses to train health
workers about that often eating disorders are glossed over in training of many of the
physical and mental health training programs. With over 11 million Americans facing
these most deadly of all mental illnesses I feel it is imperative to train everyone who may
come in contact with those facing these challenging illnesses.

In addition to speaking to current and future health providers I also share my book with
them that gives the basics of eating disorders. A goal with the book is to have it in all the
health sciences curricula at colleges and universities.

The parents and other caregivers of people with eating disorders are served via individual
and group coaching as well as my book.

Part of my mission is to help improve funding for research on these illnesses. I
collaborate with the Academy for Eating Disorders to raise funds for research
scholarships.
