Job Description:
Responsible for directing and leading a geographic group of District Managers to achieve the financial, operational and team development goals. Understands, maintains, and models the Hot Topic culture: passion for music, customer driven environment, and providing a fair and developmental environment. This position reports to the VP of Store Operations.
* Develops and communicate strategies and actions plans to maximize the financial performance of stores and districts in area of responsibility.
* Works with VP of Store Operations to establish annual field objectives.
* Partners with Senior Management, HQ and DC to ensure that programs developed for the stores are effective and efficient.
* Facilities feedback process for major issues between Field and HQ.
* Works with VP of Store Operations to create and lead agendas for District Manager Meetings.
* Facilitates and supports the professional growth of others and encourages employee ownership for performance and development.
* Determines Region’s manpower needs in support of maintaining a solid management bench.
* Ensures that all stores are consistently using all 5 Hot Selling Skills / HEART Customer Service Steps.
* Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and objectives.
* Visits each district and store regularly.
* Performs other job duties as needed.

Job Requirements :
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years of retail management experience.
* Knowledge of music and music-related fashion is strongly preferred.
* Minimum of high school graduate or GED equivalent. College degree a plus.
* Flexible and adaptive to environment, ideas, changes and challenges.
* Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly.
* Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator.
* Inquisitiveness and open mind regarding teen music/fashion trends.
* Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.
* Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues.
* Able to travel frequently.
* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift/move up to 10 pounds. May lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
