iFamilyKC is a well established monthly publication with accompanying web site and social media serving Kansas City Metro families. The Social Media Assistant will learn how to set up and post updates to our social media accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and Pinterest while engaging in conversations with our existing and potential new customers as well as our readers. This internship also includes mastering CMS system, updating and customizing our website www.iFamilyKC.com, designing and sending out our email announcements and newsletter through our mass email program. You will learn and train with us on various technologies after you become the expert on our team. The goal of this internship is to increase the content, resources, and overall exposure of iFamilyKC and our advertisers through social media marketing. Youll gain invaluable skills in research, writing, internet marketing, search engine optimization, social media, and more! Many of our interns have been able to earn college credits through their universities and colleges as a part of their internship with iFamilyKC.
