The Location
Nestled just outside the centre of one of the wealthiest cities in the world, the InterContinental Riyadh is around 30 minutes away from the King Khaled International Airport and 5 minutes from the city centre. The Role

As an Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at the InterContinental Riyadh, you will be leading a talented group of Sales & Marketing Executives and reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Your core duties and responsibilities will include:
* This challenging position is responsible for leading the sales effort of the hotel and serves as Director of Sales and Marketing in his/her absence.
* Implementing Sales action plans as outlined in the Revenue plan as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing
* Maintain a high profile within the community with those likely to produce business for InterContinental Riyadh
* Report to Director of Sales & Marketing on potential markets needing coverage
* Attend major trade shows on behalf of the Hotel
* Disseminate sales related information to other departments as appropriate
* Review newspaper articles and clippings with Sales Coordinator.

Qualifications:

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field from a reputed University and 3-5 years experience in the Hospitality Industry or Hotel sales and marketing setting. The right candidate must possess excellent communication skills as well. You must be able to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc. and may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or on holidays.
