Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore is a spectacular 27 storey atrium style hotel strategically located at the crossroad of Outram and Havelock Roads and is only a 5 minutes walk away from Singapore River.

It is just a short drive from Shenton Way financial centre, Suntec City Convention Centre, Chinatown, Orchard Road shopping belt, Esplanade, Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. We've got a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as Catering Sales Executive and will be responsible for the following:
* Assist in Catering/Banquet Sales department meets budgeted levels through proper revenue management strategies
* Assist in creating and executing annual business plans, marketing plan and budgets.
* Prepare short and long term strategies for specific market segments to rectify areas that are not meeting business objectives
* Assist Catering Director in developing and executing strategic plans
* Assist in the co-ordination of conference sales/promotional events and activities
* Attends trade shows and sells conference space
* Conduct site inspections and tour familiarizations
* Establish leads from newspapers, magazines, relevant industry documents and follow-ups
* Function as a business partner with all areas of the hotel that are impacted by the catering department
* Handles administrative works
* Keep abreast with global and local catering industry trends
* Aware of trends, systems, practices and equipment in audio visual through trade literature, hotel show and site visits
* Liaise with Reservations for space allocation and priority
* Manage all functions of the Conference and Banquet Sales to achieve the optimum departmental revenue targets
* Meet and exceed annual Budget and strategic catering goals as assigned
* Negotiate terms pertinent to the sale of conference and banqueting services
* Solicit business and follow up on referrals and potential sales leads

Qualifications:

Ideally, you'll have the following qualities we're looking for:
* Degree/Diploma holder with 1 to 3 years of similar experience
* Demonstrated strong ability to work independently and as a team
* Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (liaise with Chinese associates)
* Good organizational skills with excellent follow-up ability
* Presentable, well groomed and pleasant personality
* Service-oriented with strong desire in achieving customer satisfactions
