The Location
Nestled just outside the centre of one of the wealthiest cities in the world, the InterContinental Riyadh is around 30 minutes away from the King Khaled International Airport and 5 minutes from the city centre. In addition to 275 rooms the InterContinental Riyadh boasts a nine-hole golf course which is the only five-star Hotel in the Kingdom that offers such facilities. The Role

As a Cook III, you must able to work in a fast paced environment and to be willing to work round the clock keeping in mind that at InterContinental Riyadh we are sure to provide your with all the right tools to develop your skills and move forward with your career. Your core responsibilities as Cook III will include the following:
* Ensure that Section equipment is used correctly, kept clean, and reports any defect promptly to the Section Head.
* Participate in Kitchen training and other hotel related training programmes.
* Interact in a cordial and professional manner with fellow colleagues.
* Report and perform duty according to the schedule.
* Dresses according to Kitchen standard dress code; i.e. chef's hat, chef's jacket, checked trousers, apron, nametag, socks and safety shoes.
* Ensure his assigned station is clean and orderly at all times
* Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene, appearance and dress conduct during working hours.
* Report any injuries and accidents immediately to his supervisor or kitchen management.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar capacity will be an advantage, also cleanliness and personal hygiene level must be apparent and consistent. English being the common language used between colleagues at InterContinental Riyadh, basic knowledge of the Arabic and Hindi languages will also be advantageous.
