Crowne Plaza Dubai-Deirais a few metres away from shopping malls and from the newly build Dubai rail system, linking you with the rest of this exciting city, including the famous Jumeirah district and the Emirates Shopping Mall. The hotel is located only 15 minutes' drive from Dubai International Airport . The hotel is an ideal venue for experiencing great room comfort, delectable cuisines and banquet and catering facilities. At the moment we're looking for Demi Chef to join our friendly and professional team at Crowne Plaza Dubai-Deira. AsDemi Chef, you will be responsible in operating in his section under the general guidance and supervision of the Chef de partie or Sous chef, ensure the food quality up to the hotel stander at all times,inovative. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the rotation of food-old first, newest last (FIFO) Assist in achieving the department goals such as food cost. By controlling over the production, proper storage and food wastage. Know how daily departmental costs influence profit and loss results. Establish and maintain good relations with colleague and all other departments. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear proper uniform at all times. To be familiar with HACCP guideline as per Dubai Municipality Maintain cleanliness in the work place. Notify Supervisor of any problems or complaints as and when they arise. Be able to attained any and all kitchen meetings. To work as directed on station of assignment under appropriate Chef de Partie. Set up station properly and on time for each service period. Make sure all food is prepared by recipes designated by Chef de Partie.
