We've got a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as a General Mechanic / Plumber where you will repair and maintain all aspects of the Hotel's mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with IHG standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency of equipment at all times.

Job Summary

As a General Mechanic / Plumber, you will attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems in general and Piping, pumps, mechanical aspects of any equipment in the hotel, water treatment plants in particular. You will carry out electric arc or oxy acetylene welding and brazing.

You will attend to repairs and maintenance of domestic hot/cold water systems, storm and sanitary sewer systems, irrigation/fountain water systems and swimming pools. You will be responsible as well for the repairs and maintenance of all pumps.

You will attend to replacement or new construction projects, which may include GI, PVC and cast iron piping and fabrication of necessary brackets supports for installation.

You will attend to repairs or replacement of all bathroom/toilet fixtures in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-the-house areas.

· Minimum 2 years' experience in Hotel mechanical works
· Plumbing experience is a must
· Excellent communication
· Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment
· Flexible working hours
