The Location

The Role

Here at our hotel, honesty is very much recognized, appreciated and never goes unnoticed. As a Head Waiter, you will be leading a professional service crew and reporting to the Restaurant Manager. Your core responsibilities will include the following:
* Hands on supervision of the daily service of the hotel restaurant and its staff.
* Sharing recommendations and guest comments with the Kitchen
* Interacts with individuals outside the Hotel, including but not limited to; Clients, Government officials, Competitors and other members of the local community
* During the absence of the Restaurant Manager, conducts pre-meal briefing and maintains liaison with the kitchen.
* Attends and contributes to the weekly Departmental meetings in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar capacity at a star class hotel, A diploma or certification in hospitality management and excellent communication skills. English being the common language used at InterContinental Riyadh, basic knowledge of the Arabic and Hindi languages will also be advantageous when dealing with restaurant customers, hotel guests and colleagues as well.
