The Location
Nestled just outside the centre of one of the wealthiest cities in the world, the InterContinental Riyadh is around 30 minutes away from the King Khaled International Airport and 5 minutes from the city centre. The Role

As a Mason/Painter, you will be working alongside a talented group of maintenance specialists and reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor. Your core responsibilities will include the following:
* Observe precribed safety standards and help maintain safe condtions for self and others
* Attend to repairs of damaged and cracked surfaces which may include concrete, plastering, stone work, block work, walls and floors ceramic tiling and marble work
* Attend to items that require varnishing such as doors, window sills, timber panels and furnitures
* Carriy out spray painting of equipment, furniture of related surfaces as required
* Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the hotel premises, including any new additional/ extensions to the hotel
* Respond to guests' maintenance requests within 15 minutes

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar capacity at a star class hotel, A diploma or certification in stone/brick masonry and/or carpentry and painting from any reputed technical institute and good communication skills. English being the common language used at InterContinental Riyadh, basic knowledge of the Arabic and Hindi languages will also be advantageous when dealing with restaurant customers, hotel guests and colleagues as well.
