The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is an IHG flag ship property in Abu Dhabi and is a prominent landmark on the corniche located in a commanding beachfront setting. It features 390 guest rooms and suites, highly acclaimed food and beverage outlets and elegant meeting rooms and banquet facilities. Further it is expanding its beach facilities and a completely new Lebanese fine dining restaurant. Being an iconic hotel in the capital, we are expanding our operations with a luxurious fine dining Lebanese Restaurant providing 400 indoor and outdoor seats, and a beach project consisting of upgraded swimming pools for adults and kids and beach bars - in addition to our already existing beach.

We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team for these projects expected to open in April 2013. The successful candidate will be supervising junior team members of one Kitchen Brigade.

This is the top food and beverage job for a full service luxury hotel with an essential responsibility of preparation of a range of menu items that meet customers' expectations whilst maintaining the highest level of hygiene according to the hotel's and local authorities standards and policies . Further it is part of your duty to drive your team's performance through training, coaching and establish a work culture in lined with the hotel values.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
