Description

Insight Enterprises, Inc currently has an opening for a Configuration Management Consultant within our Services organization. This is a full time opportunity and this Insight employee will work onsite at a client location.

The Configuration Management consultant will have a strong technical background, solid communication and interpersonal skills and will work under the direction of the Client team. This person will work with the Client to set priorities and assign appropriate tasks which may include; reconciling server discovery exceptions, reconciling SCCM discovery exceptions, verifying reconciliation of the discovery tools updates to the asset inventory and management system, audit of CMDB records, determine and track appropriate KPIs of Configuration Management, reporting, as well as developing and designing processes to keep data evergreen. This resource may also be responsible for Dynamic infrastructure discovery technologies, the evaluation of dynamic application dependency mapping approaches as well as processes for managing CI states including automated flagging of instances where “discovered” and “approved” states are in conflict.
