Insight is actively seeking exceptional individuals with experience in advanced technologies. As a Nework Infrastructure Architect, you will participate in diverse and challenging engagements at client sites. The job responsibilities will vary based on the project scope and deliverables. Responsibilities can range from unified communications design to the implementation and deployment of voice technologies. Consulting provides a unique opportunity for technical professionals to be exposed to very dynamic and diverse environments. Successful consultants are able to adapt quickly to changing technical and professional environments.

Candidate will have experience with the following –

Design and implement large and complex internetworks

*
Support large and complex internetworks

*
In-depth expertise in switching, routing, wireless is expected

*
In-depth expertise in advanced routing and switching skills such as Nexus, QoS, Multicast, VSS, WLAN’s, UCS, etc. is expected

*
Design high-availability Local Area and Campus network infrastructures

*
Build scalable Wide Area and Metropolitan Area networks

*
Design Internet connectivity and ecommerce web complexes

*
Deploy network infrastructure based on the latest advanced technologies and methodologies

*
Ability to perform complex network assessments

*
Test network connectivity to ensure it is functioning as planned

*
Document network architectures, designs and operational “run books”

*
Aggressively seek to develop business, technology and project management skills

*
Provide coaching and mentoring to consultants to help be successful in delivering excellent solutions for clients

*
Develop project work plans (scope) to meet client requirements

Requirements

*
Minimum 8 years of demonstrated internetworking experience required (10 years preferred)

*
Bachelor degree in business, computer, or a related technical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience

*
Prefer CCIE or equivalent skills

*
Outstanding oral and written communication skills

*
Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills

*
Demonstrated history of delivering results

*
Demonstrated experience with network infrastructure design and implementation (e.g., routing, switching, wireless, VLANs, IP addressing and wide area networks)

*
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network operating systems, load balancing and/or DNS/DHCP a plus

*
Desire for growth in technical skills through certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP, MCSE) or other similar achievements

*
50%+ travel is expected
