Sr. Network Engineer

Insight is currently looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to join our Management Services Division. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide Network Engineering Services to Insight Managed Clients across the world. Management Services provides a unique opportunity for network professionals to be exposed to dynamic and diverse networks in a Remote Network Operation Center environment. Successful engineers are able to foster trustful partnerships with Insight’s clients, and provide 2ndlevel engineering support for the 1stlevel Operations function. This position is located at our Tempe RNOC location. Travel is minimal, up to 25%.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Supply escalation level technical support for Insight clients, and 24x7 Network Operations Center including after-hour support on a rotational basis.
* Perform network management and engineering activities for multiple clients with large and/or complex designs.
* Provide project management, network design, performance analysis and engineering support to Insight’s clients.
* Utilize excellent customer service skills to lead client relationship, and expand the understanding of Insight’s client’s business and processes.
* Complete reports on a regular basis, analyzing the security data, creating recommendations, and reviewing via phone on scheduled meetings.
* Perform research and development for recommendation and implementation of new devices and technologies
* Provide coaching, training, and mentoring for other Network Technicians

Information on Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience working directly with clients is preferred
* CCNP is required or equivalent experience
* CCDP or equivalent design experience is preferred
* Advanced knowledge of Routing & Switching protocols is required
* Basic knowledge of advanced Networking products is required (ACE, WAAS, Nexus, etc)
* Experience with Cisco UCS and Juniper products is also preferred
