Please send your resume to gbobek@integrisource.net ---------------------------- JOB SUMMARY: Monitor, configure, and maintain the Agency?s local area network (LAN), WAN, network systems in accordance with industry best practices. Monitor network security ? monitor IPS/IDS systems. Maintain network hardware and software. Real-time monitor network availability proactively remediate issues to meet department goals for network availability. Monitor and recommend best practices and best security practices for latest server and desktop operating systems. Assist the Information Technology Manager in daily operations and maintenance of the Agency's computer systems. Monitor and maintain agency backups and restorations. Monitor and maintain agency SAN, monitor quota. Monitor and maintain SNMP devices. Monitor, maintain, and administer RADIUS/TACACS+ security authentication devices. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: ? Maintain, monitor and administer computer networks. ? Responsible for agency backups ? EMC Avamar. ? Manage and administer EMC SAN. ? Assist Information Technology Manager with jobs associated with the Agency's computer systems and fill in for the Information Technology Manager when he/she is away. ? Assist in recommendations on procurement, development, and utilization of computer hardware and software. ? Maintain end user and server hardware. ? Provide general application software support when necessary. ? Assist in the review of existing systems and plans for upgrades and/or redesigns as necessary. ? Responsible for professional communication between the Agency and hardware /software vendors. ? Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of users. ? Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. ? Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records. ? Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware. ? Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes. ? Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement. ? Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases. ? Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements. ? Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records. ? Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation. ? Responsible for phone system duties limited to adding, removing and changing users. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE: ? SNMP monitoring ? EMC Storage and EMC Avamar backup systems ? At least 5 years' experience managing Active Directory and Group Policy ? Cisco networking and security ? Cisco Certification CCNA or better preferred. ? Troubleshooting experience ? ability to resolve user problems. ? Network infrastructure and wiring. ? Must possess a broad understanding and good working knowledge of the following software products: ? Microsoft Windows Server x64 2K8R2 * VMware ESXi 5+ * VMware View 5+ * Active Directory 2K8R2 * Microsoft Office 2010 or later * Microsoft Windows 7 OS / Win 7 administration * Microsoft Exchange version 2010 OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: This position may require some after-hours support work and IT may perform PM's when users are least affected by computer downtime. This position may require some lifting, working in confined spaces, and working from a ladder or other temporary platform. This position is expected to help maintain the orderliness and organization or the datacenter (DC), network operations center (NOC), storage areas, and work area. REQUIRED EDUCATION, DEGREES, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS: *Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified or successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; or high school diploma with at least 6 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. *MCSA/MCSE Certification preferred but not necessarily required, however the ability to acquire this certification within 1 year of employment date is mandatory. *Professional certification (CCNA or better) preferred.
