Description
Requirements:
· This position provides front end application technical support (via phone and email) to external clients including diagnosing and troubleshooting of complex problems with IGT systems installed at customer sites
· This position will be required to diagnose complex problems with stored procedures and ETL’s, used on both SQL Server 2005, and SQL Server 2008
· This position leverages advanced in-depth technical expertise in IGT systems products, requiring to lead complex diagnosis and technical analyses of difficult systems problems
· This position requires the ability to lead and execute the full scope of large, complex troubleshooting assignments; that involve multiple technology systems that may be related to, but not limited to applications, software, and databases
· Conducts technical analyses to diagnose and quickly resolve high severity incidents in addition to solving detailed, in-depth technical problems
· Provides analysis and recommendations for software changes to Engineering to improve product functionality
· Participate in the development and deployment of Application Support strategies and operating plans and through the completion of assigned projects, work to achieve the strategies of the Application Support Team
· This positions works closely with areas of support services including areas Problem, Change, and Incident Management
· Work on process improvement, creating new methods, policies and processes
· Lead in contributing to new and modified software specifications and processes for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems
· Lead and mentor less senior support engineers and work on clearing logged open cases focusing on complex problems
· Other duties as assigned by management staff

Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in systems installation, maintenance and upgrades required
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
· Requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, databases, networking and hardware/software, ideally supporting Gaming Systems software
· Prefer advanced knowledge of the gaming industry, gaming regulations and casino operations highly preferred
· Prefer Advanced knowledge of multiple aspects of SQL including SQL Profiler, SSMS, and SSRS
· Ability to travel, participate in on-call, and work overtime as necessary
· Able to work independently and efficiently to meet SLA deadlines
· Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
· Ability to pass a for cause pre-employment drug test, security investigation, DMV check and have a valid DL and a clean driving record required.
· Ability to obtain the necessary gaming licenses required

· Prefer working knowledge of all facets of Table Games, Casino Cage, Cage and Table Accounting Systems, Count Rooms, Credit, and Slot Cashier departments
