Position Name Competitive Intelligence Manager Location NV - Las Vegas Shift Day Employment Status Full Time Description This position is located in Las Vegas NV, however we will consider qualified applicants who are able to work from our Reno NV office. The Competitive Intelligence Manager has responsibility for monitoring a group of key competitors, providing in-depth understanding of these competitors and their market strategies forour addressed markets. The Manager will be the company's eyes and ears to track, analyze and communicate the strategic activities of these competitors, and will work across all operating units to develop comprehensive analyses. Working individually and within teams, the Manager will lead CI projects, prepare profiles, and provide assessments of key competitors with both tactical (pursuit-specific) and strategic (corporate-level) frameworks, respond to ad-hoc requests on competitive and strategic issues, and communicate with all levels of the company leadership. Primary responsibilities include: Managing primary and secondary intelligence gathering strategies for the company’s major pursuits. Activities include capture team training for IGT Team Members in the field, Key Intelligence Topic (KIT) definition and management, including alerts and schedules updated, and developing a single site Competitive Intelligence library accessible to all key employees. Identifying and accessing published information sources that are relevant to our business plans. Responsibilities include information source identification, search strategies and methods, the synthesis of results into actionable intelligence and decisions for key business owners. Will be required to train capture teams on intelligence gathering sources and methods, leading teams through the intelligence management cycle, managing the acquisition, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence for the capture teams. This position will have direct contact and will present key findings to Executive Management for strategically critical business pursuits. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to transform large amounts of research data into succinct, clear conclusions that give insight into competitor strategies, and to communicate clearly and persuasively. Job Requirements The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for analysis that is actionable with a strong understanding of slot games and features as wells as systems. They should also have a strong understanding of on-line gaming both for wager and social. Minimum 10+ Years overall experience in related fields such as Research, Marketing Research, and or Business Analysis 5+ Years experience in the gaming industry with an emphasis on slots and slot systems 3+ Years in an analyst role preparing and presenting actionable insights Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
