Title: Principal Engineer - Turbomachinery Controls
Location: TX-Webster

Principal Application Engineer - TMC

Location:Ideally will be located in Webster, TX. Consideration may be given to other Invensys locations in North America.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides technical expertise in the area of TURBOMACHINERY Controls during all phases of the project, including proposal/sales support, planning, execution, installation, and commissioning. Ensures that the client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.

Must be able to produce well-written design documents, program effectively, demonstrate the entire control scheme to the client during the FAT, and be the TurboMachinery expert on site during startup.

Should be an expert in at least two of the following: Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Compressors (anti-surge and performance control), and Generators (primarily AVR).

KNOWLEDGE:

Having wide-ranging experience in TurboMachinery Controls, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires a minimum of 8-10 years of related experience in TurboMachinery Control Systems.
