Title: Senior Application Engineer
Location: MA-Foxboro
Invensys Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Application Engineer in Foxboro, Massachusetts to support pre-sale and/or post-sale company products/systems and develop SCADA systems solutions for clients. Interpret and prepare technical specifications, develop strategies for implementation in production, and develop control system application software. Will have technical project responsibility and will lead a project team through implementation, testing, on site start up, commissioning, and providing customer training. Define and acquire project technical resources, and assist the project manager with financial planning and developing the detailed project execution plan.
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field and two years of application engineering experience. Experience must include SCADA system design, configuration, implementation, startup, system commissioning, Microsoft Visual Studio and C . In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field, and five years of progressive application engineering experience.
