Title: Signalling Design Engineer
Location: United Kingdom (Great Britain)-London
Produce and production check to the required quality and safety standards - estimates, plans, designs and engineering details. Engineer or modify signalling systems in support of the safe implementation of signalling projects as directed by the Design Manager.

Key Activities and Principal Accountabilities:

· Provide functional support and guidance to the Assistant Design Engineers within the Design Team on all aspects of Signal Design and on allocated projects.

· Perform duties as directed by the Design Manager for Design activities.

· Safety responsibility in terms of Health and Safety legislation, company procedures and standards.

· Assist in the preparation of contract specifications for signalling projects to obtain the best available outcome for the business portfolio.

· Knowledge and experience of working with Computer Based Signalling Systems.

· Provide training to others.

Essential:

· Minimum education requirement is HTC, HNC, HND, Higher BTEC or equivalent.

· Ex demonstrable experience of S&T work.

· Hold IRSE Signalling Designer license 1.1.510 or equivalent.

· Good time and task management skills.

Desirable:

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Have design draughting experience

· Railway Signalling Design System (RSDS) and Cab-I-Net experience
