Technical Sales Consultants (TSC's) enable IOM Sales organization to meet or exceed its target by enabling Portfolio Sales through technical support direction and business acumen. The TSC plays a key role in the sales organization by enabling, supporting and driving the Client Sales Executives (CSE) and Client Sales Representatives (CSR) and sales engineers. They help to bridge the gap between market needs from the client and sales with their specific product, application and market knowledge. Responsible for providing primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations. The Technical Sales Consultant (TSC) will be working in the Scandinavian TSC team. This team supports the Scandinavian sales team with: · Product presentations (Technical) · Product demos. · Technical input to RFPs and quotes . Detailed product specifications Another important part of the TSC role is to use the high level of expertise on theWonderware portfolio to provide: · Proof of Concept · Technical reviews · Consulting · Product training · Technical workshops. · On-site technical support QUALIFICATIONS: Education · Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and oral • Knowledgeable about the portfolio assigned applications and protocols · Minimum 3- 5 Years of experience within Automation • High level of energy and passion, a tolerance for travel and extra work hours as needed; • Experience in sales support activity or optimization project execution. Clear understanding and support of sales process; • Flexible attitude and excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute a variety of tasks on a timely basis and as the situation requires; • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize so as to ensure achievement of revenue objectives; • Uncompromising integrity with the highest degree of accountability internally to the Company and externally to the customer; • High tolerance for rejection, obstructions, delays and other frustrations and the ability to execute against commitments; • Sensitive to political issues, influences and group dynamics with the ability to read these factors and influences.
