With the growth of our rail business in China an opportunity exists for an experienced Test and Commissioning Team Lead to support our Metro project delivery team based in Beijing.



The Position:

The Test & Commissioning Team Lead must provide leadership and specialization in the field of Rail Signalling Test & Commissioning, troubleshooting, testing of migration strategies and automated tools and test equipment. A key part of the role is to do the test and commission according to the test plan and test procedures, as well as reducing the design and testing durations to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness of project roll outs. The role will also see you interfacing with R&D on tool development, and with the Tender Team in producing schematics, technical descriptions and inputs to design and testing estimates.
Position Requirements:

Fluent in Mandarin and English Languages – this is mandatory.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
*
Railway signalling experience is essential – minimum of 4 years. This experience may have been gained from working in design, manufacturing, engineering or site construction activities within the rail industry.

Good understanding of CBTC principles and how to test systems
*
Knowledge of systems integration, assurance and safety aspects of metro systems
*
A good understanding of modern communication systems and networks with experience of using radio systems in a railway environment
*
Demonstrated success in leading a Test and Commissioning Team
