Ivy Child International (ICI) is a Worcester-based nonprofit whose mission is to help each child achieve their best by recognizing and enhancing their unique strengths and abilities using yoga and mindfulness practices, music and movement, cultural awareness workshops, and much more. We provide cross-cultural positive psychological services for children, families, and communities worldwide. We have a competitive and challenging virtual internship and volunteer program that is unpaid and flexible. Interns & Volunteers will work with the Regional Manager, Intern & Volunteer Supervisors, and the Communications Consultant. Activities will range from daily tasks to long-term projects.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERTISE:

Marketing/Public Relations/Communications: strong knowledge and use of social media channels/metrics, online engagement campaigns, web writing, drafting diverse promotional materials; media contacts, press releases, tracking/analysis of media hits, monitoring relevant news stories

Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign proficiency will work closely with marketing and web development interns

Media/Visual Arts: photography, videography (help document ICIs work for our archive, website, social media campaigns); painters, sculptors, etc. (help develop art therapy curriculum)

Web Development: strong HTML/PHP/CSS knowledge; proficiency in WordPress;
web analytics, Google Ads, search engine optimization; podcasts, videocasts, webinars

Psychology: strong knowledge of research protocol and data management; trainings/workshops, curriculum development

Business Management/Nonprofit Management (requires candidates in graduate school): strategic planning, organizational structuring, program development/monitoring/evaluation, board management

Multilingual Capabilities: such as Spanish: translation services

Community Outreach: partnership building, cross-collaborations, client referrals and relations

Accounting/Bookkeeping: budget management, assistance with grants administration/annual reports

Human Resources: intern management, volunteer recruitment/retention, HR policies, internal communications
