Commercial Banking Compliance supports the line of business in complying with laws and regulations relevant to all aspects of Commercial Banking ("CB"). CB has several different sub-lines of business which include Corporate Client Banking, Middle Market Banking, Credit Markets (Chase Business Credit, Chase Capital, Chase Equipment Finance), Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending, Community Development Banking, in addition to the Government, Not-For-Profit and Healthcare business ("GNPH").These business lines serve both private and public clients with $20MM - $2B in annual revenue. The Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") Compliance team supporting CB seeks a highly motivated, team oriented Compliance Manager. The position will report to a Compliance Directorand will focus on enhancing and maintaining the high risk customer due diligence programs and performing analysis and follow-up on clients that present AML and/or reputational risk. The position will also include other projects and initiatives related to AML, the Bank Secrecy Act ("BSA") and the USA Patriot Act. Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze and perform risk assessments on CB high risk client types such as Money Services Businesses ("MSBs"), FX companies, Casinos and Third Party Payment Processors.
  • Assess money laundering/terrorist financing risk in various client segments, recommend mitigants and controls.
  • Research, analyze and determine remediation of clients that present AML and/or reputational risk.
  • Interface with bankers and relationship managers providing guidance and obtaining explanations related to high risk clients, negative media and/or suspicious transactional activity.
  • EnsureKnow Your Customer documentation is complete and current.
  • Maintain reporting metrics including following-up and escalating past due items.
  • Assist teamwithvarious AML/BSA projects for the LOB.
  • Prepare and present reports on projects and initiatives.
  • Drafting technology requirements for system releases.
