Commercial Banking Compliance supports the line of business in complying with laws and regulations relevant to all aspects of Commercial Banking ("CB"). CB has several different sub-lines of business which include Corporate Client Banking, Middle Market Banking, Credit Markets (Chase Business Credit, Chase Capital, Chase Equipment Finance), Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending, Community Development Banking, in addition to the Government, Not-For-Profit and Healthcare business ("GNPH").These business lines serve both private and public clients with $20MM - $2B in annual revenue. The Commercial Banking Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance ("EFCC") Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") team supporting CB is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated ComplianceManager with AML and OFAC compliance expertise. The position will report to a Compliance Director and will focus on developing, testing and managing the Commercial Banking Compliance OFAC responsibilities. The position will also include projects related to OFAC and liaison with Legal Counsel and Corporate OFAC Investigations on OFAC related client issues and policies. Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze, update and perform risk assessments on the CB OFAC policy and procedure.
  • Liaison with Legal Counsel, Corporate OFAC Investigations and other JPMC LOBs on OFAC related client issues and screening processes.
  • Research, analyze and remediate clients that present OFAC risk.
  • Interface with bankers and relationship managers providing guidance and obtaining information related to OFAC related issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Test OFAC policy and procedures and address any related findings.
  • Maintain reporting metrics including following-up and escalating past due items.
  • Monitor sanction related high risk jurisdiction transaction activity.
  • Participate in JPMC global project initiatives related to OFAC.
  • Prepare and present reports on projects and initiatives.
  • Drafting technology requirements for system releases.
