Finance Operations Analyst - Global Liquidity Operations Description Global Finance Operations Liquidity Operations will be the E2E data managers and serve as the operational support for the new Liquidity Risk Infrastructure (LRI) and operating model. LRI is a firm-wide, 'mission critical' initiative to enhance the Firms liquidity risk management, monitoring and reporting capabilities. The program involves a redesign of the supporting technology and infrastructure and will result in the implementation of a world class liquidity risk reporting system complying with recently mandated Federal and Basel regulations. The program encompasses strategic data sourcing and enrichment, liquidity risk analytics and metric calculations, scenario stress testing and, monitoring and reporting capabilities. We are seeking a business analyst to join the GFO Liquidity Operations team. This individual will be a part of a dynamic team of highly talented individuals and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, learn, design, test and implement solutions. The incumbent will be accountable in supporting initially the LRI project build out and then phasing into supporting the business as usual (BAU) operations function working with LRI Technology partners, Corporate Treasury, and various Lines of Business (LoB). In addition, the incumbent's responsibilities will include:
  • Support upstream business suppliers and various LRI Technology partners, Corporate Treasury, Line of Business (LoB), Credit and Finance teams in order to gain an understanding of the business drivers, infrastructure, products and changing environment.
  • Perform analysis of data quality issues to determine root close and propose solutions.
  • Resolve potential missing risk or data quality issues within the business and assisting with the resolution of data quality issues and process inefficiencies.
  • Monitor metrics that accurately represent the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the flow of data from the source platform to the LRI Data Acquisition and Control environment and facilitate the timely understanding, management and resolution of data quality issues and process exceptions.
  • Support the month-end process by investigating variances between the data received into LRI DAC and the Corporate General Ledger.
  • Escalate issues to management within our organization or in other lines of business when progress is not being made or barriers are put forth.
