The Oversight and Control Group - Central Team's (OCG-CT) mission is to solidify an effective Bank-wide control framework within and across the lines of business by identifying and remediating control issues with a sense of urgency, regardless of the source. The OCG-CT team will work collaboratively with other control disciplines and will oversee existing control functions as well as the development of new control functions and protocols. This process will enable the firm to engage the appropriate teams in a timely manner and provide the ability to quickly remediate critical control issues across all the impacted areas of the firm. The Control Room, a critical component of the OCG-CT, will function as a controls reporting and analytics utility for the Bank. Its mission is to provide meaningful management information that will facilitate decision making. Management information will include post-incident tracking and analysis, as well as predictive and preventive analysis. As a Senior Business Analyst in the Central Team's Control Data and Analytics Room, primary responsibilities include:
  • Combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used, to create functional designs and reporting requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with the LOB and Corporate function control personnel, and IT to identify solutions, develop Business Requirements and execute change.
  • Review Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify those requirements are successfully met.
  • Create detailed UATplans and scripts and manage the UAT process.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed project plans and capture/manage project risks, issues and dependencies and track deliverables through implementation.
  • Implementation of enhancements to the processes and tools to improve management information systems and reporting regarding control issues, at an enterprise-wide level.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of monitoring technologies and monitoring strategies. Learn the compliance and regulatory aspects driving Line of Business monitoring needs. Apply this knowledge to improve projects, determine solutions and resolve issues.
  • Participate in multiple project work-stream concurrently.
