Duties : Responsible for the full life cycle of performance management for all Retail applications, including performance/capacity requirements gathering, test planning, LoadRunner test scripting with multiple protocols, test execution, performance analysis and tuning, and results reporting. Assess need for performance testing. Gather detailed performance requirements from various members of the project team (including business and technical contacts). Verify test requirements against current production metrics. Create test plan documents and distribute to project teams for signoff. Build C-based performance test scripts using LoadRunner. Load testing, stress testing, duration testing, and 18-month capacity testing. Coordinate capacity modeling exercises based on business projections. Analyze test results for compliance against requirements/preset service level agreements. Assist project teams with system tuning on the following platforms: J2EE, .NET, mainframe green screen, Citrix, web services, MQ etc. Provide sign-off (Pass/Fail notification) for production changes. Participate in Know Your Customer program. Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
