DescriptionTo support our current business expansion and our strategy to enhance Compliance coverage for the TS/IS business, the Compliance Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance manager to join the Compliance team in our JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Seoul Branch. This integral role will focus on assisting the Korea TSS business management team in managing compliance risk. You will provide compliance and regulatory advisory for the TS/IS business and associated support functions, including advice on existing and new Korea banking business related regulations. You will focus on Korea, but will be required to ensure a consistent approach with elements of our global compliance program. The position includes evaluating compliance with relevant regulations, issue identification, assessing the impact of regulatory change and working with business management to build and maintain control mechanisms to remain in compliance with laws and regulations and to protect the reputation and franchise of the business. The role will review new business initiatives, operational procedures and major operational and systems changes from a regulatory perspective. This role may also be responsible for managing and coordinating consultation exercises and industry group discussions, and assisting in managing relationships with key regulatory agencies such as Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) or Korea Federation of Banks as they related to TS/IS. The role will assist in driving regulatory projects and applications, handle regulatory enquiries and investigations and assist with management of regulatory inspections. Other aspects of the role in supporting the TS/IS compliance programme include regulatory risk assessments, establishment of policies, performing training and executing compliance testing (as needed). The role may also prepare management and governance reports as needed. As a member of the JPMorgan Chase Bank, Seoul Branch compliance team, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with other lines of business as needed Responsibilities of the group include: Legal Entity Control - Local and US regulatory reporting and accounting supervision and advisory services. Advisory to local business managers on relevant local regulations, ratiosandpermissible activities within the location. Management Information Services - providing timely, accurate control reporting on revenues, expenses and other control indicators to management on a regular basis. Business Control - Dedicated resources to support the various trading and investing businesses in terms of profitability reporting and facilitating new products and business opportunities Projects - Financial System implementation and enhancement
