Reporting to the head of events, the event manager will be responsible for the management and execution of principle, regional and internal events for the business. He/she will work with the marketing directors for each channel, marketing and sales management and others within the organization to assist with the planning and delivery of the meetings and events calendar for J.P.Morgan Asset Management. The events manager will be required to assist with all details relating to budgeting, logistics, messaging, agendas, on-site management, follow-up and measurement. Specific responsibilities include :
  • Delivering the J.P. Morgan event standards at every event
  • Project planning and management (project plans and critical paths)
  • Working with the events calendars and homepage in MS SharePoint
  • Work with the project team to build registration sites and invitations within the marketing tool
  • Manage entire invitation process and attendee manifests
  • Meeting evaluation process (creation and final reporting)
  • Manage the entire event logistics, for example, liaise with corporate travel agency, reconcile travel cards and reports, manage invitation process and attendee manifests, audio visual requirements coordination, arrange event materials like printing name badges and signage etc
  • Site/venue research and negotiation of vendor contracts
  • On-site meeting management (travel will be required)
  • Logistics for speakers, for example, facilitate presentation books, arrange hotel and ground transportation and collect final presentations
  • Printing of: Name Badges, Tent cards, Signage etc
  • Product metrics and reports, work with business intelligence and marketing teams to measure, track and evaluate the impact of events
