The Oil Gas team counts among its clients a wide variety of oil gas industry participants at every part of the energy value chain. These clients include large, multi-national integrated energy companies, independent exploration production firms, oilfield services providers, refiners and midstream pipeline and infrastructure operators. The Oil Gas team is a part of the Energy Group within the Investment Bank and has members in New York, Houston and Calgary. As an Investment Banking associate, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Market, structure and execute Investment Banking transactions across equity, debt and MA product offerings from beginning to ending
  • Work with corporate clients to raise capital and shape corporate strategy
  • Supervise analysts in developing analytical models, presentations and marketing materials
  • Interface with internal product partners, clients and buyers / investors and drive transaction results
  • Analyze industry trends, financial situation and positioning of client companies and competitors; perform company due diligence
  • Support senior management in expanding market reach
