The Data Architect will support the global program to support a strategic Client Account reference database for the Investment Bank. This role will focus on the overall Architecture and design of data components as defined by the data strategy and architecture principles. Working with the team based globally the holder will share the responsibility for ensuring that the architecture supports the business needs, determining relevant approaches to database design, the management of data, the organization of data in terms of storage and use and the demands of consumption from within Investment Bank. The Data Architect is expected to understand the relevant investment process and understand the data requirements for the different business areas within Investment Bank. This will include Client Account Reference Data, operational data stores and Data warehouse strategies and the framework for application integration. You will be expected to work with technologists and business representatives from across the Investment Bank to explain the strategic architecture and data model, understand unique business needs and incorporate them into the strategic solution, respond to inquiries and adopters in on boarding to the strategic Reference Data solution. You will help support and expand upon the Architecture principles for Data and support their adoption. You will have several years experience working as a Data Architect within Financial Services and ideally in Client Account reference data.
