Capital team is responsible for calculating Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), which is an input into Regulatory Credit Capital calculation, and Economic Credit Capital (ECC) for JPMC. RWA calculation is performed for Basel I, Basel II, and Basel III frameworks for Traditional Credit Products (TCPs), Repos, Margin Loans, Assets for Sale (AFS) Securities, Securitization, OTC Derivatives and Settlement Fails. Our current focus is on meeting Regulatory Demand under Basel III NPR rules, spanning all Basel frameworks, ensuring the firm qualifies for Basel II and improving operational efficiencies. We are seeking a Senior Application Developer who can lead small-mid size end-to-end development projects as well to join the Capital - Basel team. This individual will be a part of the dynamic team of highly talented individuals and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, learn, design and implement. Responsibilities:
-Work in an energetic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and deliver on multiple project streams simultaneously
-Build technology solutions using Agile methodologies to meet complex business needs
-Lead the design and development of new software components and applications based on functional specifications
-Interface with Business users as necessary for defining requirements and streamlining design
-Conduct design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations
-Conduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to coding standards
-Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new functionality and to optimize them for performance
-Coordinate with analyst teams to execute test plans and provide support during user acceptance testing
-Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
