Description
The role For a motivated and informed iOS developer, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a consultancy-style mobile development team with exposure to both varied and exciting technical challenges. Pushing the boundaries and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in mobile development are central to our team's ability to deliver. Besides hands-on experience with the latest platforms, you will have direct access to subject matter experts, both in-house and from 3rd parties - including Apple. Better than that, you get to ship code, regularly, on market leading platforms which are changing the way the world works and communicates. You will help deliver iPad/iPhone apps distributed publicly via the Apple App Store and internally via our Enterprise App Store. By joining the Mobile Centre of Excellence (MCoE) you will be stepping into a fast-paced, results-driven environment, where demand for the team's services and expertise is high and the norm is exposure to a variety of projects, running in parallel. As a pragmatic, proactive and keenly analytic developer you will appreciate the benefits of robust and stable libraries, frameworks and processes - we're no different, and we are constantly expanding and enhancing our capabilities in these areas. Contributing to these valuable resources will form a regular part of your work. We are part of an exciting and fast-moving global organisation where you will enjoy frequent communication with project stakeholders and be an active player in a flourishing in-house developer community. Adding to the variety of your working week, a vital part of the role also entails providing technical and procedural oversight and constructive feedback to other project teams and vendor partners. While this role is focused initially on iOS development, tactical and strategic development in other mobile environments is part of the MCoE remit, so cross training is a possibility.
