Role Description

• Development of the Synthetic PB (portfolio swap) system developing a high volume flexible Synthetic Prime Brokerage equity portfolio swap product. The role is based in Glasgow reporting to the development lead in Glasgow.
• The main duties of the role are
• Working closely with Equity Finance Traders, Product Development and the Local and Global technology teams to define, design and implement the system.
• Ability to quickly grasp requirements and convert into a technical product implementation, ensuring functional and non functional requirements are met.
• Take Ownership in the work and be quality and detail conscious. Whether this be on the GUI side (C#) or the server side (Java)
• Perform on going enhancements, maintenance and support of the system.
• Experience in dealing with production issues, risks, support and troubleshooting an advantage.

Development is business critical to the Prime Brokerage/Equity Finance business and this hire is critical to this development
