Description The Clearing Derivative Technology reconciliation function sits within Singapore. As OTC products move into the clearing world there has been considerable expansion within the clearing derivatives group in order to support this growth. Last year a multi-year re-engineering program was improved and the impact of this on the reconciliations function is to consolidate the technologies utilized and deliver a more flexible product which can keep pace with the expanded clearing world. The candidate will be working in a team and will be responsible for a work stream of a large project or will lead implementation of a contained project. Working closely with the project manager and other team members, the candidate will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-release support. Candidates should be curious and enjoy learning, continually and deliberately looking for opportunities to gather feedback and improve. Our ideal candidate should have the proven track record of delivering software products whilst being pragmatic enough to translate concepts and ideas into solutions whatever the technology. Responsibilities:
  • Ensure our agile principles and tools are understood, provide direction and support to the Product Owner and the Team in the Scrum implementation.
  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal
  • Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
  • Ensure agile tracking systems are updated to provide transparency on the Product.
  • Design, implement, test and maintain the components of the products.
  • Implement back-end components of an n-tier application, including data model, data access objects, and application logic.
  • Performance and scalability tuning to support large deployments.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance as appropriate.
