Business Area Description: Institutional Equities covers a number of business activities including Market-making in a number of products, Trading, Sales and Analysis. The product range includes Cash Equities, client connectivity and FO. The Equities business is a truly global business and is a major business area for J P Morgan with an aggressive growth plan envisaged over the next few years.

Job Description:This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a highly dynamic trading environment working closely with Cash Equities Front Office and Middle Office. The candidate will be working very closely with Front Office in particular to support all business flows and applications.

The specific responsibilities are:

Understanding the Cash Equities business flow and providing expert application consultation and support to the Front Office and Middle Office.
Working hand-in-hand with Front Middle Office to support trading and booking of the trades from an application perspective.
Develop key application expertise on the Global Strategic Cash Equities suite of applications, working with Global teams in London.
Rapid application development to automate manual processes and support adhoc reporting and queries from Front and Middle Office.
Participate in key projects for expansion of the business to ensure seamless implementation
