Department Description The EMEA country business management group is part of the broader Global Finance and Business Management function. This role will support all Lines of Businesses within the Saudi Arabia Riyadh Subsidiary (Securities business). Role Description The key aim of the role is to provide high quality performance information and provide value-added analysis as needed to the co-CEO's in Riyadh Subsidiary. This will involve working closely with all LOB's and liaising with every functional group in location including, but not limited to operations, finance, compliance, legal, tax, technology, HR. Role Responsibilities
- Drive strategic agenda for the co-CEO's in support of Riyadh
- Deal pipeline maintenance, review and reporting
- Productions and review of market analysis - league tables, wallet, and market share, etc.
- Oversee/work closely with Finance, HR, Real Estate, Technology, GTI, Finance and Security
- Coordinator and interface between JPM Saudi Arabia (JPMSA) and 3rd party relationships (for example, legal)
- Manage the operational controls agenda, partnering with product ops people (operational risk monitoring)
- Drive audit remediation plans and ensure that the subsidiary is ready for audit and co-ordinate with internal auditors
- Partner with Branch Business Manager to co-ordinate all business resiliency activities (planning, BCP documents, Resiliency testing)
- Co-ordinate on-the-ground with the project managers of the build Saudi Sub projects
- Manage the relationship with regulator (CMA) - will be the face to the regulator
- Partner with Branch Business Manager to identify country efficient operating models which are both SAMA and CMA compliant
- Co-ordinate with regional SFO and COO the preparation and presentation of Franchise financial information. Will further be owner of all the management backs for the sub
- Present Financial Information to the JPMSA Board (also pull together pack)
- Awareness and tracking of potential business transaction to ensure that impact on operational capabilities is planned and managed
- Support the co CEO's in managing the governance of the subsidiary (agenda, minutes, action)
- Ensure that appropriate governance committees are set up
- Review adequacy of governance in line with the growth of the business
- Co-ordinate the preparation and conduct of the management committees and Local Operating Committee
- Support the sub's co-CEO's in special projects as and when required
- Track and monitor JPMSA clients in partnership with Compliance
- Track client agenda including performance/client planning
- Manage client coverage list client reference data across all systems
- Drive completion of the client on-boarding process (KYC, NCS, DDR)
- Continued review of front office expenses, both direct and indirect expenses
- Work with various groups to deliver the technology agenda. Ensure completion of stats and usage in relation to iBanker, iMeet, iMemo and Dealworks
- Provide ad hoc financial and market analysis to meet business requests
- Work with Snr BM to organize client and business events
- Distribution and review of management reporting packs (Country EMR)
- Headcount analysis and reporting, as and when needed
- Event management for any client events (conferences, client CF training, IMF, etc.)
- Production of any other minutes as and when necessary
- Review and give input into MENA country reviews/strategies in relation to Saudi input
- Contribute to FBM agenda
