Role Description The ideal candidate will function as a senior developer and technical analyst . Will have extensive experience in developing and managing full life cycle of ETL deliverables. Must have a demonstrated expertise with Informatica PowerCenter 8.x/7.x.. A very strong understanding of Oracle databases (design, performance) and SQL is required for the position. Experience and knowledge of data warehousing / dimensional modeling is a plus. Will also be third level production support. Required Skills In depthknowledge and experiencein Oracle 11i or greater on Unix platform, developing Oracle sql - pl/sql scripts. - experience of writing unix shell scripts Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience Informatica PowerCenter (7.x or higher) ETL experience. With Design, Development of Complex Mappings with multiple data sources including Version Control Management Very strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be self-motivated and be able to grasp difficult problems quickly Desired Skills Experience using Informatica for real-time processing of data Experience in handling large Flat file loads using Informatica Expert level knowledge of Entity Relationship Diagrams.
