DescriptionEMEA Surveillance BA J.P. Morgan is a leader in financial services, offering innovative and intelligent solutions to clients in more than 100 countries with one of the most comprehensive global product platforms available. We are in search of a Senior Business Analyst within JPMorgan's Investment Bank Technology - Core Processing area, specifically covering the Surveillance groups located in the EMEA and Asia. The Business Analyst will to work with Compliance officers and analysts to define business requirements and specify data requirements. The role will involve working closely with the technical developers and component testers within the team to ensure requirements have been built correctly. The successful candidate will need to work with the project managers to ensure correct reporting of status and appraisal of effort and solutions, and be delivery focused with a keen eye toward project and artifact completion to meet deadlines. This is a key role which represents Surveillance IT to users in EMEA Asia. This role would have lot of influencing responsibilities with the business users and application development team. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the full data life cycle from business requirements analysis and data feed definition, to data mapping and working with QA team to facilitate feed testing Work with Surveillance users to organize, analyze and document business requirements for surveillance, reports, and relevant workflows Responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, producing detailed functional specification. Leverage the knowledge of functional requirements to assist with user interface design and wireframe documentation and review Develop use cases and oversee creation of test scripts by the QA team Work with build and component testing staff to ensure deliverables meet business requirements Contribute to development of best practices for the identification, collection, consolidation, validation, tracking and reporting of data. Oversee development of data definitions, helping to analyzing data sets for data anomalies and/or to verify data quality and content, and producing data quality metrics Oversees the integration of data transformation in the overall architecture. Recommend and develop if necessary, new methodologies for supporting information management security and compliance requirements as it relates to data management. Work with business partners to help identify, analyze and resolve data errors and inconsistencies Understand high-level database architectures and work with data analysts and architects to ensure database designs are consistent with information architecture and information management and industry standards. Build a strong relationship with the users to be their trusted partner and be proactive in identifying and recommending solutions to Surveillance teams. Manage regional Book of work
