Position Description: The Latin America Private Bank events team supports client advisors and clients across 4 geographic markets, Brazil, Mexico, Southern Cone, and Andes. The Latin American business is one of the fastest growing businesses in the Private Bank and it presents exciting opportunities for the events team to execute events that build visibility, access new prospects, increase assets under management, and enhance the client experience. The regional event planner will assist in all aspects of client event activities and will be responsible for creating and managing client event activities from conception through to execution. The event planner will focus on markets within the PB LatAm region (with a primary focus on Brazil Offshore) but can be involved in large events targeting a global client base. The job demands interaction with colleagues on the LatAm regional event team, Global event team, LatAm Global marketing, PB LatAm market managers, bankers and product partners. The event team's goals are to help PB LatAm markets increase client business/deepen existing client relationships, create and drive efficiencies for all internal partners and maintain the J.P. Morgan brand standard in all events. Regional Event Planner responsibilities include: Understand LatAm target audiences and assist with developing an event strategy that supports business/revenue goals. Plan, execute and provide on-site management for LatAm events (with a focus on offshore Brazil). Collaborate with senior event managers and global marketing teams to assist on idea generation, overall event management and data analysis Maintain event calendar and aggressively manage event budgets Define protocol to consistently deliver the ideal Private Bank experience at all events and on-site client visits, ensuring brand consistency Sourcing and negotiating with venues, suppliers, and ordering gifts and merchandise for events Research venues and suppliers maintaining and updating the database of vendors/venues per country that fall within the PB standard Function as an integral part of the team and participate in weekly region team meetings, drive operational efficiencies and contribute with new ideas Management of lists and status reports for client events and global programs (nomination lists, attendee lists and rooming lists). Working with partners in compliance data privacy to appropriately manage sensitive client data Event administrative responsibilities (production of invitations, nametags, place and table seating cards, menu cards as well as collation of marketing collateral for the events) On site support at events with travel across the LatAm region Work closely with Events Marketing colleagues to identify the most effective way to leverage events which are part of pre-approved regional marketing plans. Liaise with other J.P. Morgan regional lines of business, in order to leverage and consolidate ideas, shared resources and cross sell event opportunities Leverage J.P. Morgan Corporate Marketing resources where necessary and available Evaluate all charitable sponsorship requests for assigned regions
