Team Overview The Private Bank Credit Documentation team is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of credit /collateral documentation for Asia Private Bank ("PB") book of business. Role and Responsibilities:
  • Review approved credit proposal. Prepare the appropriate credit documentation template to support the credit. Liaise with Lenders for missing information or clarification of credit requirements.
  • Ensure the required credit conditions are included in the documentation. Liaise with Legal where required.
  • Manage mortgage documentation process including liaising with external legal counsel and internal valuers on documents, mortgage completion and redemptions.
  • Check incoming and outgoing Standby Letter of Credits (SBLCs) and Banker's Guarantees(BGs) to ensure that they conform to templates approved by Legal.
  • Process registration of pledges from clients with company registries of Hong Kong, Singapore and other required jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, credit policy and country regulations.
  • Maintain documentation records in image and data form in the internal PB systems.
  • Manage safekeeping of physical documents in Hong Kong, London and Singapore.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding documents which are pending to be signed by clients.
  • Prepare management information and track documentation production and return of documents from clients.
